Hookah bar customers typically book as groups of 4–12 people. CafeOS lets them book online, pay a deposit to secure the table, and receive an automatic confirmation. No-shows drop significantly when deposits are required.
Customers at the table can scan a QR code and order additional food, drinks, and shisha refills without flagging down a waiter. Orders fire directly to your kitchen or bar display.
Run one kitchen display for food orders and another for shisha preparation. Both pull from the same order stream, so nothing gets missed.
When a group is ready to settle, staff close out the table from the POS. Card payments, split bills, and reservation deposit credits are all handled in one flow.
Hookah sessions run long. CafeOS table analytics show session duration, so you know which tables are nearing their end and can manage turnover effectively.
Assign a dedicated waiter to each reservation so guests get consistent, attentive service throughout their session.
Reservation confirmed
A group of 8 booked online at noon and paid a £40 deposit. Their table is reserved and assigned to a waiter in the system.
Guests arrive
Staff check them in via the reservation dashboard. The deposit is logged against their bill automatically.
QR order placed
The group scans the table QR code and orders food, drinks, and the first round of shisha. Order appears on the kitchen display.
Second round ordered
Guests scan the QR code again and order more drinks and a second shisha. No waiter needed.
Bill closed
Staff settle the table via POS. The £40 deposit is deducted from the total. Card payment captured.
