Invite staff by email. Assign them a role. Each role sees only the parts of CafeOS relevant to their job. No training manuals, no complex permission setup.
Staff see only what they need. Nothing more.
Go to Settings → Team and enter the staff member's email address.
Select Owner, Manager, Cashier, or Waiter. The role determines what they can see and do.
If the staff member already has a CafeOS account, they get access immediately. New staff create a free account using their email.
Each staff member has their own login. No shared passwords. If an employee leaves, remove them from your team in one click — they immediately lose access.
If you run multiple venues, you can add the same staff member to different venues with different roles. A manager at one site might be a cashier at another.
When a reservation comes in, you can assign a specific waiter to it. That waiter receives the assignment and can see the reservation details when they log in.
Each role's interface shows only what's relevant. A waiter sees their tables and orders. They don't need to navigate a complex system to do their job.
